Hydrobotanical Waste Water Treatment Plant
Hydrobotanical Waste Water Treatment Plant
The projects had two main goals. First to decrease the amount of sewage transferred to the Baltic Sea and thus reduce the pollution of the Baltic Sea international waters. Another goal concerned maintaining the bio-diversity of Puck marsh and the river Plutnica.
Among other objectives declared by the grantee was finding an effective solution for problems connected with sewage management in this type of a territory: protected area. The project had the goal to contribute to a change and to promote this model of sewage management among neighboring communes where there were similar socio- and bio-geographical conditions to encourage efforts to build the same kind of plants.
