Project fully implemented despite the initial distrust and problems with permission of getting into apartments (at the beginning of project implementation in Cracow a man claiming his work for gas utility company and checking gas meters murdered a few alone women...) and distrust -how much will we pay for these services and trainings and when? Later, thanks to very frequent coverage by local TV, radio and newspapers - project became unexpected burden to impelmenting NGO - many requests from other part of Cracow , even from other towns to start with similiar project in their area.
EX-post evaluation done by Oil and Gas Institute proved 6-7% reductionof gas and electricity consumption as average, for teh whole area.Individual cases reported despite all recommenden activities - growth, in individual cases - unnormous growth. Explanation came later from extra interviews - born new baby, or son got girlfriend (frequency of showers dramatically jumped). This individual pattern of behaviour disrupted some expected results at the end of project and proved that initial assumption were too ambitious and did not covered all possible factors affecting consumption of energy on family level.
Despite NC efforts and 3 working meetings, organising financial engeenering for replication on bigger scale from other resources in Szczecin, other bigger towns, and in Vilnius, Bratislava - FWIE did not show further committment.
