?Nour? awareness campaign for promoting efficient energy consumption in the urban area of Al Shegaiha community in Gaza.
The project will promote community awareness particularly women and children on efficient energy saving methods through training 35 women community guides to lead ?home to home? campaign in 500 families in one of the most densely populated areas in Al Turkman area in the eastern part of Gaza City. Moreover, the project will conduct series of workshops to educate the community on the most practical method to reduce energy consumption and overcome the scarcity of energy resources. In addition to its contribution to reducing the CO2 emissions, the project will help the families make saving energy monthly expenditure that would substitutes and other pressing family needs such schooling.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Raising awareness through: Launching ?home to home? awareness campaign with 500 families to explain methods of energy efficiency, collect information and common energy consumption practices. Another two visits to follow up and evaluate the % of reducing the energy consumption. Workshops: organizing 5 workshops for women in Al Turkman area to discuss common problems regarding the energy consumption and find out solutions for some of them. Organizing 5 evening workshops to present possible alternatives to solve inefficient consumption of energy. Organizing 2 media workshops, the target group is VIPs, press, and the concerned societies and establishment, which could contribute positively to the projects. Visiting 4 surrounding students to raises there awareness on simple energy saving methods, as part of the non-curriculum educational hours. Publications: Designing and publishing 3 types of stickers, 1000 copies each with illustrative drawings and clear energy efficiency messages. Distributing 1040 promotional baskets contains CF lambs.
