Reclamation of selected areas of Mt. Uluguru slopes
The problem of environmental degradation and pollution on Mt. Uluguru slopes has been persistent for a very long time without proper and sustainable checks. Uluguru mountains are now deprived of its natural flora, fauna and soil due to unscientific utilization of natural resources by human activities. The project main objective is to contribute towards reversing the deteriorating trend of flora, fauna and soils on Uluguru mountains through involving grassroots people in conservation and protection efforts.
