Waste Woods Heating of Forestry Office in Brzozow
The first GEF/SGP project targeting renewable energy, breaking barriers in introduction of this type of energy.Project proved (see: results) to break finally barriers, but after very hard and long work.
Original idea was to replace coal with sawdust, branches, dry pieces of waste wood in the local forest inspectoratebuilding near Brzozow.Main expected outcomes: ecological (reduction of GHG emission), economic (reduction of mainatance cost),political and cultural (removing psychological barriers -"return to old-fashioned fuel of our grandparents"(sic!);another barriers were not predicted - strong opposition from conventional fuels lobbies.
