Conserve and protect bathing pools and water spring
The Women's Committee of Vailoa Palauli are responsible in maintaining good quality water for the community's use in bathing, washing and drinking. There are three coastal springs and all are currently used by the community, however due to recent events such as cyclone Heta and increase coastal erosion, the spring has been impacted with salinity. It is the Women's Committe proposing to implement this project focussing on the following objectives;
Capacity building workshop on water resource management (coastal springs)
Technical assessment to test the quality of bathing pool and drinking water
Full-assessment of actual cost in upgrading and improving the structure of the coastal springs
