Reduction of manmade pressure on core zone of Kulunata State Natural Reserve, located in the forest and meadow and steppe belt of western slope of Fergana Range by rehabilitation of origin wood and bush vegetation, introduction of pasture rotation schemes in close to villages rangelands and stimulation of plantation local species of fast growing trees in the buffer zone of the reserve.
The project by Kutmanjer NGO is a planning project. The project activities are going to be carried out in Kara-Kulja village which is close to the Kulun-Ata reserve. There has been an antropogenic pressure on the reserve from local population: overgrazing, vast tree cutting down. The project staff is going to collect the data on the condition of the area of project implementation. Also develop recommendation about the pasture rotation. To increase the awareness of people round tables and seminars are going to be conducted.
