Promote use of bicycle for short distance shopping, school transportation and as a sport through:

1.-awareness raising and advocacy of the environmental, health and monetary benefits in using bicycles (with workshops, brochures, surveys and website),

2.-provide training on safety measures, riding and maintenance of bicycles,

3.-lobbying and following up with municipality for bicycle rental centers,

4.-facilitating loan acquisition for purchase of bicycles,

5.-identify safe biking path(s) for one school and neighborhood shopping centers in the pilot area,

6.-create bicycle parking space for one school in the pilot area,

7.-implement monthly biking tours in spring and summer,

8.-hold ?sustainable development and biking? exhibitions,

9.-assist in establishing a bikers? association in the sites and

10.-empower the bikers of each site in designing and planning their projects;.
