Protection and rehabilitation of wood and bush plots, containing endemic species of plants: Lonicera paradoxa Pojark, Physochlaina alaica E.Korot, Sorbus turkestanica (Franch.) Hedl by fencing growing plants, stimulation of seed reproduction and creation of tree nurseries in the vicinity of Maidan village, located into sparse juniper forest belt of northern slope of Alay Range
The project implementation was the collaborative initiative of the local households. After receiving the support from local authorities the NGO outlined the scope of the work that has to be done. The project is devoted to preservation of the plants enlisted in the Red book of Kyrgyzstan Lonicera paradoxa Pojark, Physochlaina alaica E.Korot, Sorbus turkestanica (Franch). To preserve them NGO is going to organize reserves and fence the territories of major concern. The NGO is also involving schools and organizing ecological clubs.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Participants of the project will have 2 nurseries and a greenhouse that will allow them to be engaged in cultivation of flowers, both rare endemics, and usual ones, for whom market demand exists.
Notable Community Participation
Since it was a collaborative desicion of people there is already a vast community participation. People are involved in fencing the territories and organizing nurseries for better preservation.
