GOGOL AND NARU RESOURCE OWNERS STRATEGIC PLANNING AND PARA-LEGAL TRAINING WORKSHOP PROJECT
The proponent will assist the CBO to design and develop the complete proposal and resubmit to the NSC for further funding.
The project will involve meetings, and awareness programs of the project to mobilise the community support to protect the project. The project addresses advocacy and capacity building to assist the local resource owners to make informed decisions on their forest resources, which currently are under threat of large scale logging operations. The project site has a vast area of lowland tropical rainforest and is potential to such large scale operation that are damaging to the environment.
