Improvement of environmental situation of the Auliekol village (Combat to the land degradation processes on the territory of the Auliekol central hospital through implementation of a complex of phytomelioration measures with active participation of the local community)
Auliekol settlement is located near to the pine wood. 11347 people lives there. The local hospital is situated on sandy grounds. There is a strong necessity to restore the territory round the hospital as it?s amazed by construction materials, disinfectant agents and mineral oil (due to draining liquid fuel into the boiler-house and repair of machines).
The project is directed on restoration of the territory round the hospital complex by means of creation of a phyto-barrier with pine saplings and implementation of the local community awareness raising measures.
Expected results are (i) restoration of the degraded territories round the hospital complex in Auliekol, (ii) improvement of ecological situation round the hospital, (iii) improvement of the social and environmental activities of the hospital employees, creation of "Green patrol", (iv) increase of oxygen content in the air due to establishment of the greenbelt, (v) reduction of dust winds containing bacteria, in particular tuberculosis ones.

Notable Community Participation
LC is represented by staff of Auliekol Hospital. All staff is very much interesting in recovering of territory around the hospital, especially near tuberculosis block. The project activity will create phyto barrier and improve general conditions of the territory of hospital.
