Community Based Socio-Economic and Sustainable Livelihoods Recovery after Tsunami Disaster in Gampong Teungoh Village, Samatiga Subdistrict, West Aceh
Gampong Teungoh is 150 Ha and was one of the hardest hit 13 villages on the west coast. This village is in conjunction with Pucok Lueng and Lhok Bubon where coordination of series of activities on community-based recovery efforts. Gampong Cot is striving to rebuild its economy activity through locally-led economy group. The population is 371 people (117 households) consisting of 190 men and 181 women.The South-South Grant supports the committee of survivors to establish a village based socio-economic body. This body consists of fisherfolks, farmers, small vendors, and women groups. Main support: working capitals for fishermen; handicraft; small vendors; community center for small repair workshops
