Renewable energy sources for the remote areas of Kazakhstan. (Raising intensity of alternative energy technologies introduction in Kazakhstan by information dissemination about opportunities and prospects of renewable energy as integral element of sustainable development of the country)
Use of renewable energy sources is economically expedient in many regions of Kazakhstan. Nevertheless, the potential of renewable energy is not enough use in the country. One of the principal reasons is lack of trustworthy information about how renewable energy can be used, what opportunities and perspective for its further development are.

As a result
?equipment producers, potential consumers of renewable energy, investors, banks and other business representatives don?t see the way to get profit out of alternative energy sources use and production
?the state bodies do not consider introduction of renewed energy sources as the real tool for complex solution of economic and environmental problems.
?The Kazakhstan mass media don?t competently enough highlight development of renewable sources of energy in Kazakhstan,
?Universities and Higher schools don?t conduct any scientific or educational activity, and the result there is lack of experts on renewable power in the country.
?NGOs and resource centers involve their own resources and target groups in development of alternative energy sources quite insufficiently

The main goal of the project is raising intensity of alternative energy technologies introduction in Kazakhstan by information dissemination about opportunities and prospects of renewable energy as integral element of sustainable development of the country.

The task of the project will be reached through distribution of information about renewable power in mass-media, through WEB-sites, edition and distribution of special release of the "Green Power" magazine, training of journalists for qualitative illumination of alternative energy development in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, training of students and teachers through distant learning course "Renewed energy sources" (DIERET), implementation of lecturing course at universities, initiation of practical projects, directed on renewable energy manufacture or use.

As a result of the project
?Over 100 people will pass the distant training about renewed power DIERET;
?Special issue of the Green Power magazine sharing experience of renewable power use and manufacture in CIS countries and Western Europe will be published and widespread
?60 teachers of Universities and higher schools will be trained on the issue;
?A series of articles about alternative energy in republican and regional mass-media will be printed;
?A number of video plots will be placed on local and republican mass-media;
