Organizing ecotourism in the buffer zone of Sarychelek reserve near Jylgyn village by developing the ecological route, establishing solar collectors to decrease the consumption of solid energy sources.
The project is going to be carried out in the buffer zone of Sarycheleck reserve area. The local population has put an enourmous pressure on the local environment by cutting the trees for energy supply. The NGO after analyzing the situation has realized that the pressure should be reduced and in order to achieve that the renewable energy resource needs to be introduced. The solar collectors are the most efficient option. The NGO in the course of the project is going to conduct educational seminars about solar collectors and on ecotourism. To improve the conditions for ecotourism the hotel complexes are going to be improved. The project is going to be supported with information campaign: publishing broshures, and posters, articles in the local newspapers.
