Establishing solar collectors to decrease the consumption of traditional energy sources in Jany-Bazar village, Chatkal region that is a tourism development area.
The region where the project is going to be implemented is situated far from the major roadways and due to that the communications are not well-developed and the energy goes of during the spring, and fall seasons. The constant lack of energy has lead to several tendencies, which are: the local population cuts down the trees for more sustainable energy supply. This fact has increased the antropogenic pressure on the environment of this area. This activities are estimated to be the starting point of deforestation process. To preserve the environment and lessen the pressure on the forests the NGO is implementing this project and introduce the solar collectors to the households of this area. The solar collector could significantly reduce the antropogenic pressure on the environment of the forests of the nearby area. The NGO is planning to increase awareness of people by conducting educational seminars on solar collectors and seminars on tourism. Solar collectors are going to be established in this area and the guest houses are going to be improved. The solar collectors will help to heat the guest houses. The NGO is also planning to establish agitation boards and support the project with information campaign.
