The planning grant will facilitate the preparation of the proposal for Alternative Livelihoods Through Honey Production in the Cayo District by supporting the consultative planning process of the Cayo Quality Honey Producers Cooperative Society Ltd. It will be used to provide logistical support to the Cooperative for obtaining inputs from members and other interested stakeholders in participating communities. Consultation meetings will be held in five member communities (San Antonio, Bullet Tree, Seven Miles, Cristo Rey and San Jose Succotz). Planning grant funds will also assist with funding an initial planning workshop with, and a session to present the project to, the cooperative members and other key stakeholders.
