Community Based Socio-Economic and Sustainable Livelihoods Recovery after Tsunami Disaster in Suak Seukee Village, Samatiga Subdistrict, West Aceh District
Suak Seuke is 500 Ha and was one of the hardest hit villages on the west coast. The population is 329 people (162 households) consisting of 216 men and 113 women. South-South Grant supports the improvement of local organizational skills among communities, the rehabilitation of the local economy and livelihood post tsunami, the development of a micro-finance system among the communities under the coordination of Lembaga Economy Masyarakat (LEM) and the management of environmentally sound natural resources management post tsunami
