Macedonia is flooded by suspicious toys that can contain hazardous chemicals, and have no declarations, nor is known who imports them. No one in the country controls toys, often containing toxic and carcinogenic substances that are proven to cause, among other things, infertility in girls, damage to the nervous system, allergies. Because of the low price, parents buy more and more toys, which due to poor quality, quickly break and end up on landfills.
Please describe the results of one to two projects that were completed during the reporting period. For results, please reflect on ‘what’ was achieved, ‘how’ was it achieved, ‘who’ was it achieved for and with, and ‘where’ was it achieved? Please refer to attached guidance for details. (300 words)
