Report on a consultative meeting held by Women in Energy Sierra Leone Limited in March 2024 to address energy access and usage among vulnerable women in Sierra Leone. This initiative was driven by a rapid assessment conducted through Community Engagement Campaigns and Beneficiary Selection processes. The overarching goal of the project is to create equal access to clean energy and climate adaptation measures for vulnerable women, thereby contributing to reducing land degradation and improving sustainable land and community management. The project's focal point revolves around increasing access to low-carbon improved cookstoves for vulnerable women and households.
