This storybook focuses on the Barima-Mora Passage Area: the largest and most intact ecosystem, 41,000 hectares with 14,000 hectares being mangrove forest in Region 1, Guyana. It examines the mangroves, animals within the ecosystems and the people who depend on the ecosystem for survival. This storybook was developed under the "Developing tools for collaborative management of the Barima-Mora Passage Mangrove Area" project. This project was executed by the Guyana Marine Conservation Society.
