Ex-Situ Conservation and Monitoring of Biodiversity for Sustainable Development in North East Botswana
Milidzani Forest Products and Ornamental Marketing Cooperative aims at developing/enhancing capacity of its members to actively participate in the monitoring and ex-situ conservation of biodiversity through the provision of appropriate training in plant propagation and nursery management, and also in biodiversity monitoring. The project also aims to improve on the infrastructural capacity of the members of Milidzani through the construction of proper nurseries that will be used for the propagation of indigenous (especially) and other plant species. These nurseries will also be used as focal points for training and education for sustainable development and general information dissemination in the different localities.
