Strengthening and Promotion of Cooperate Governance in Sustainable Utilisation and Conservation of Natural Resources in Ngamiland
The project will aloow the Ngamiland CBNRM Forum to meet and fully explore avenues and ways of trnsforming itself into a legally registered entity with a fulltime secretariat. This will allow the forum to access requisite funding that it is unable to now. The funds will be used for a workshop to build consensus, share ideas and come up with strategies of transforming the forum into a legally registered entity. The project will enable the Ngamiland CBNRM forum to meet and come up with prioritized concrete proposals and initiatives that will need to be undertaken to ensure the CBNRM forum is transformed. The workshop will also enable the CBOs to come up with an outline of their constitution and Deeds of Trust.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms
CBNRM CBOs are involved in a variety of income generating activities ranging from safari hunting to photographic tourism. In order to ensure that CBNRM continues to bring in the requisite benefits to the community, it was felt that a forum be created whereby members of the various CBOs would come and share their experiences including successes and failures.
Notable Community Participation
CBNRM forum consists of differnt CBOs in the Ngamiland district, hence a wide range of communities will participate hands-on the project.
