Climate Change Film Project
Climate Change Film Project
Sustain T&T is a non-profit company registered in Trinidad and Tobago dedicated to Sustainability Education and Communications.

Climate change is a far reaching and complex phenomenon to which small island developing states like Trinidad and Tobago are particularly susceptible. In spite of this fact, there exists very little in the way of educational tools or content about the issue that is easily accessible by the general public

Sustain T&T therefore proposes to develop and produce a short film (20-30 minutes) which will seek to inform, educate and entertain the general public with a common sense approach to defining Climate change.

The objectives of which will be as follows ?
- To build awareness of climate change and its local and regional impacts
- To support assessment and development of the salient elements of climate change policy in the local context
- To support and strengthen access by the general public to support resources on the issue of Climate change
- To spark behavior changes in the audience as demonstration of their understanding of the film.

Hence, we aim to see attendees work toward the following goals:
1. Reducing their individual carbon footprints (Example: No longer running water while shaving or brushing teeth, repairing leaky faucets and toilets promptly so as not to waste water as well as unplugging devices from wall outlets when out of use).
2. Decreasing their dependency on fossil fuel powered vehicles (Example: Carpooling to work or opting to ride public transportation, keeping short distance flights to a minimum)
3. Taking time out to educate others about the importance making small lifestyle changes to make a significant impact on the greater community.
4. Replacing regular light-bulbs with energy saver light-bulbs.
5. Reducing incidences of flooding by proper garbage disposal
