This project aims at reclaiming degraded land and enhancing agricultural productivity in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner around Kambui forest reserve communities. The project will also establish fish farms and community wood lots as local enterprise schemes for sustainable development and conservation of biodiversity.

Notable Community Participation
Community people through their elected bodies have been involved in the planning of this project. Also as evident in the implementation plan, Community people will be involved right throughout the implementation and the monitoring and evaluation of the project.
Gender Focus
The composition of the GFMAS, VFMAs and VSLAS guarantees a fair role of women in the association. Additionally during the formative stage of the KNFMA so many governance trainings were conducted that emphasized the role of women as very critical in every activity of the association.
