GEF Knowledge Fair 2015
The 2015 Knowledge Fair is a two-day event catalysing new opportunities to create a more
sustainable future, while showcasing the contributions and best practices of the GEF SGP UNDP
grantees in addressing environmental challenges at the community level.
Coinciding with the run up to World Environment Day 2015, the event seeks to bring together a
gathering of dynamic cross sector leaders to examine the effect of our daily actions on climate
change, to highlight the impact of climate change on our daily lives (food and water shortages,
increased poverty, coastal flooding) and to explore and unlock ground-breaking and innovative
solutions for a more environmentally friendly future.
In particular, the 2015 event will seek to deliver a new learning experience for participants, by
integrating a social innovation framework to help drive a more solutions based approach to the
complex environmental issues we are facing.
The 2015 Knowledge Fair will be held on May 28 and 29, 2015 in collaboration with and co-hosted
by the UWI-Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business (UWI-ALJGSB).
