The project since it just registration of the CBO does not have any knowledge management strategy but only lesson learn during project report will be produce

The project will involve the vulnerable groups such Basarwa in the mobilisation process and development of legal document to be used by the proposed Trust and also during meeting the use of local languages will be done for the benefit of vulnerable groups. People with disability will also be given opportunity to speak during kgotla meetings.

There are no socio-economic or alternative livelihoods activities to be carried but this project creates a starting foundation and Once the trust is registered the trust wishes to embark in some socio-economic activities for instance, fishing which is a main livelihood for people living along Boteti river. The benefits derived from fish farming will be used to assist vulnerable and youth groups in the community. Avi-tourism is an untapped market in Botswana which has potential economic benefits including foreign exchange earnings, job creation and raises the profile of Lake Xau in the world.

Twenty percent (20%) of the interim committee of the trust consist of the youth. Although youth are few in numbers, active collaboration with adults present opportunities for youth to develop capacity to serve, enhance their skills as well as offer input in decision making and problem solving in an effort to conserve Lake Xau ecosystem. During implementation of the project all consultation and meeting conducted will involve the youth and their ideas and decision will drive the project. The youth will benefit from the trainings on governance and project management hence sustaining the future of the Trust.

When implementation of the project start the capacity needs assessment will be done. The assessment will be done again by end of the project. Some of the activities to be undertaken include capacity building on governance and project and financial management.
