Improving Soil Structure through Organic Gardening Scale-up Project
Main Project Objective:
To Improving nutrition and reducing soil degradation through organic gardening
Specific objectives:
1. To Train 30 households in Maunga village in special techniques for improving soil and water management through compositing and using low cost irrigation techniques for irrigating small plots at household level.
2. To facilitate improved gardening by use of the household composites for the 30 households
3. To encourage household sales and use of the produce among Maunga residents
4. To improve the economic status and nutrition of poor households, women and children
particularly those living with HIV/AIDS and the affected families through organic small
businesses.
