PROJECT ZERO 2.0
The overall goal is to improve education, awareness, human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation and impact reduction while reducing and offsetting the Carbon Footprint of St Francois Girls? College. This project will also initiate a similar project at another high school, Brazil Secondary School through replicating of some activities.
The outputs of this project will include:
- Guidelines for reducing carbon footprint for schools;
- Plans for the continuation of the project at SFGC (sustainability);
- Short videos for awareness produced from competitions conducted at the schools to encourage students, staff and extended school community involvement;
- A report outlining the project development, implementation, management, and results (initial and final carbon emissions estimate at the school).
