Conduct training workshop for Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), GEF/SGP funded project grantees and other district leadership representatives (i.e. Dikgosi, Village Development Committees, etc) on issues of mutual interests to all partners such as proposal writing, project monitoring, governance, etc. ? Facilitate a one-day Knowledge and Information Day using the GEF/SGP model to promote networking among SGP grantees to share information on achievements, challenges, lessons learnt and to encourage exchange of experience to improve awareness and understanding about SGP. The media houses will be invited to come cover the event. ? Exchange visits to other project grantees within the landscapes will be supported to enable grantees to practically earn experiences from one another. ? A brochure/booklet will be produced that will profile each CBO from the Bobirwa landscape, what their mandate is and some of the achievements or challenges will be captured ? The project updates will be communicated through KCS various social platforms (website, newsletter, twitter, Facebook, Instagram). A hashtag will be created for the project because in today?s world of social media, users can quickly get bogged down by information overload. Using hashtags makes it easy to cut through digital clutter focus only on the information they really want. These practices will be put in place to ensure that the project?s information, data and knowledge propels it to realizing the objectives.

Policy impact evaluation examines changes in key indicators that have occurred since the implementation of a policy and the extent to which changes can be attributed to the policy. For example, public policies are influenced by a variety of factors including public opinion, economic conditions, new scientific findings, technological change, interest groups, NGOs, business lobbying, and political activity. This project is supporting the CBNRM policy through building the capacity of CBOs so that they may be able to better manage their natural resources and derive benefits from them.

The involvement of youth, people living with disabilities and vulnerable community groups would be engaged in the project through their CBO?s as entry points for project outline and participation especially in the inception phase and would be involved in project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. More information on the number of some of these group representatives will be determined through the situation assessment to guide on specific activities that would cater for these various groups to attend and participate fully in the capacity building activities. As youth are brought into community organizations and civic roles that they have traditionally been excluded from, they can participate in local decision-making at multiple levels. This collaboration leads to skill enhancement, confidence building, and ownership that prepare them as they navigate toward adulthood Young people will also participate as community planners in community the development work and training based on their knowledge of ICT, they will be taught new skills using ICT so that they can guide their peers, younger people and adults, too. The youth will be able to search for information in the internet and use their computer knowledge put together funding proposals. Through active engagement, youth can take on ownership and become lifelong contributors to local well-being of their communities

The project will be sensitive to the local cultural practices of the different gender and the culturally assigned roles of men and women. The project will nonetheless promote gender equality. Where there are more gender equality, there is more peace. Advancing gender equality will also add impetus to the project by eliminating barriers to women?s workforce participation and promoting women?s leadership.
