Significant Participation of Indigenous Peoples
All the activities involve local people from the villages and rural communities. The local language shall be used for interviews as we believe using the local language of the communities is an effective strategy for reaching out the community members, especially those where little English is spoken
Gender Focus
Objectives set for this project include gender and often favor women beneficiaries of SGP projects. In fact, this project promotes women empowerment by encouraging active involvement of women in most of the activities such as interviews, storytelling, and story of change. The project team encourages women to be present during general community meetings and shall give women leaders the opportunity to express their opinions about project results.
