Mobilisation of villages participating in a project to conserve Makgadikgadi Pans.
The Nata Sanctuary was established to protect a wetland which is a breeding site for migratory birds. However the communities around the sanctuary did not actively participate in its management or accrued benefits form the project. The purpose of the project is to mobilise the community to support and make use of eco-tourism opportunities created by the sanctuary.
